Instant offense definition

Instant offense as used in this Section means the offense which is before the court.
Instant offense means the offense of conviction on which sentence is being pronounced. “Instant con- viction” means the conviction on which sentence is being pronounced.

Examples of Instant offense in a sentence

  • Examiners should conduct the Instant offense (IO) exam as an event- specific polygraph for examinees who deny any or all important aspects of the allegations pertaining to their present sex offense crime(s) of conviction.

  • The Staff/Management Committee shall meet at the call of either group upon at least five (5) days notice, and not more often than once in each month (unless by common accord) for the purpose of discussing Employer / Employee relations and other matters of mutual concern.

  • Violent offense means a violent offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Nonviolent offense means an offense which is not a violent

  • Sexually violent offense means an offense for which a conviction has been entered for any of the following indictable offenses:

  • relevant offence means any offence not being one of an involuntary nature other than a crime under the Ordinances or under the Act, liable to the punishment of imprisonment or of detention for a term of more than one year;

  • Sex offense means an offense defined as a sex offense in RCW 9.94A.030;
