Insolvency Statutes definition

Insolvency Statutes has the meaning set forth in the definition of "Insolvency Event."
Insolvency Statutes means the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada), the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada), the Assignments and Preferences Act (Ontario) and the Fraudulent Conveyances Act (Ontario). For the purposes of the opinions expressed in this Section IV, we have assumed that, on the Closing Date and on the date of each sale of Seller Affected Assets pursuant to the Originator Sale Agreement:
Insolvency Statutes means, collectively, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada), as now and hereafter in effect, or any successor statute.

The foregoing definition of “Bankruptcy” is intended to replace and shall supersede and replace the definition of “Bankruptcy” set forth in Sections 18-101(1) and 18-304 of the Act.
