Headings mean the chapters and the headings (four-digit codes) used in the nomenclature which makes up the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System, referred to in this Protocol as "the Harmonised System" or "HS";
Table of Contents is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the attached “Table of Contents” (identified by “SA-10”).
subheading means the first six-digits in the tariff classification number under the Harmonized System.
Radiation head means the structure from which the useful beam emerges.
text means the Short Message Service also commonly known as 'text messaging'. A chargeable unit (a text) is a message up to 160 characters long. If a message exceeds 160 characters, it will be charged in multiples of the unit charge.
Interpreting means the process of translating communication between hearing individuals, who communicate in spoken language, and individuals who communicate in sign language. Interpreters must be able to listen to an individual’s words, inflections, and intent and simultaneously render them into sign language using the mode of communication preferred by the Customer. The Interpreter must also be able to comprehend the signs, inflections, and intent of the Customer and speak them in articulate, appropriate English.
designated sector means a sector, sub-sector or industry that has been designated by the Department of Trade and Industry in line with national development and industrial policies for local production, where only locally produced services, works or goods or locally manufactured goods meet the stipulated minimum threshold for local production and content;
Reference means the basic function of providing information about library and state archives of Iowa materials and making the materials available for research.
Table means the table at the end of this §4a.
Language means all documents and correspondence in respect of this contract shall be in English Language.
Agency head or "Procurement Officer" means the person who signs this contract on behalf of the Requesting Agency and includes a successor or authorized representative.
Descriptive literature means information provided by an offeror, such as cuts, illustrations, drawings, and brochures that shows a product’s characteristics or construction of a product or explains its operation. The term includes only that information needed to evaluate the acceptability of the product and excludes other information for operating or maintaining the product.
Sectional Titles Act means the Sectional Titles Act, 1986 (Act No. 95 of 1986);
Permitted Section 5(d) Communication means the Section 5(d) Written Communication(s) and Marketing Materials listed on Schedule C attached hereto. All references in this Agreement to the Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus and the Prospectus shall include the documents incorporated or deemed to be incorporated by reference therein. All references in this Agreement to financial statements and schedules and other information which are “contained,” “included” or “stated” in, or “part of” the Registration Statement, the Rule 462(b) Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus, the Time of Sale Prospectus or the Prospectus, and all other references of like import, shall be deemed to mean and include all such financial statements and schedules and other information which is or is deemed to be incorporated by reference in the Registration Statement, the Rule 462(b) Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus, the Time of Sale Prospectus or the Prospectus, as the case may be. All references in this Agreement to amendments or supplements to the Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus, the Time of Sale Prospectus or the Prospectus shall be deemed to mean and include the filing of any document under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder (collectively, the “Exchange Act”) that is or is deemed to be incorporated by reference in the Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus, or the Prospectus, as the case may be. All references in this Agreement to (i) the Registration Statement, the Preliminary Prospectus, any preliminary prospectus, the Base Prospectus or the Prospectus, any amendments or supplements to any of the foregoing, or any free writing prospectus, shall include any copy thereof filed with the Commission pursuant to its Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval System (“XXXXX”) and (ii) the Prospectus shall be deemed to include any “electronic Prospectus” provided for use in connection with the offering of the Offered Shares as contemplated by Section 3(n) of this Agreement. Defined Terms As used herein:
Cross-reference The statutory provisions on the President and the Executive are found in title 2 of this code. The statutory provisions on the FSM Congress are found in title 3 of this code.
the Articles means these Articles of Association of the Academy Trust;
Model Articles means the model articles for private companies limited by guarantee contained in Schedule 2 of the Companies (Model Articles) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008/3229) as amended prior to the date of adoption of these Articles;
Tomographic section means the volume of an object whose x-ray attenuation properties are imaged in a tomogram.
Purposes or “goals” means the methods or educational emphases chosen by an institution to fulfill its mission. The institution’s purposes relate to why the institution was founded, its particular point of view, its unique or special character, and its relationship to the community it serves.
Substantive means comments that contribute something new and hopefully important to the discussion. Thus a message that simply says “I agree” is not substantive. A substantive comment contributes a new idea or perspective, a good follow-up question to a point made, offers a response to a question, provides an example or illustration of a key point, points out an inconsistency in an argument, etc.

Certain Defined Terms As used in this Agreement, the term "Prospectus" means the applicable Portfolio's prospectus and related statement of additional information, whether in paper format or electronic format, included in the Portfolio's then currently effective registration statement (or post-effective amendment thereto), and any information that we or the Portfolio may issue to you as a supplement to such prospectus or statement of additional information (a "sticker"), all as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933. 2.
FBF Definitions means the definitions set out in the June 2013 FBF Master Agreement relating to transactions on forward financial instruments as supplemented by the Technical Schedules (Additifs Techniques) as published by the Fédération Bancaire Française (together the FBF Master Agreement) as may be supplemented or amended as at the Issue Date.
