inquirer means a Sole Inquirer or a Committee of Inquiry
inquirer means the consumer, as defined in Financial Code section 90005(c), who submitted an inquiry to a covered person and is contracted with, has applied to be contracted with, or has had a debt or other obligation assigned to, the covered person. For this Article, an individual consumer, whether submitting the inquiry to the covered person directly or through an agent, trustee, representative, estate, trust, or joint trust, must be a resident of California at the time of the inquiry.
