Organic Waste means such type of Solid Waste that can be degraded by micro- organisms, but shall not include Excluded Wastes;
Chemical agent shall mean any compound which, when suitably disseminated, produces incapacitating, damaging or lethal effects on people, animals, plants or material property.
Toxic chemical means a chemical or chemical category listed in 40 CFR 372.65.
Chemicals means substances applied to forest lands or timber including pesticides, fertilizers, and other forest chemicals.
Threatened or endangered species means all spe- cies of wildlife listed as "threatened" or "endangered" by the United States Secretary of the Interior or Commerce, and all species of wildlife designated as "threatened" or "endan- gered" by the Washington fish and wildlife commission.
Chemical dependency means the physiological and psychological addiction to a controlled drug or substance, or to alcohol. Dependence upon tobacco, nicotine, caffeine or eating disorders are not included in this definition.

Microorganisms (1 2) means bacteria, viruses, mycoplasms, rickettsiae, chlamydiae or fungi, whether natural, enhanced or modified, either in the form of "isolated live cultures" or as material including living material which has been deliberately inoculated or contaminated with such cultures.
Polyolefin adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polyolefins to substrates.
Radioactive marker means radioactive material placed subsurface or on a structure intended for subsurface use for the purpose of depth determination or direction orientation.
chemical tanker means a ship constructed or adapted and used for the carriage in bulk of any liquid product listed in chapter 17 of the International Bulk Chemical Code;
Polystyrene foam means blown polystyrene and expanded and
Polystyrene foam adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polystyrene foam to substrates.
Fungus means any type or form of fungus, including mold or mildew, and any mycotoxins, spores, scents or by-products produced or released by fungi.
Radionuclide means a radioactive element or a radioactive isotope.
Threatened species means any species which is likely to become an endangered species within the foreseeable future throughout all or a significant portion of its range.
Invasive species means an alien species whose introduction does or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.
Pathogen means an organism that is capable of producing an infection or disease in a susceptible host.
Polymer means a substance consisting of molecules characterised by the sequence of one or more types of monomer units. Such molecules must be distributed over a range of molecular weights wherein differences in the molecular weight are primarily attributable to differences in the number of monomer units. A polymer comprises the following:
explosive actuated fastening device means a tool that is activated by an explosive charge and that is used for driving bolts, nails and similar objects for the purpose of providing fixing;
Carcinogen means a chemical that causes an increased incidence of benign or malignant neoplasms, or a substantial decrease in the latency period between exposure and onset of neoplasms through oral or dermal exposure, or through inhalation exposure when the cancer occurs at nonrespiratory sites in at least one (1) mammalian species or man through epidemiological studies or clinical studies, or both.

Invasive plant species means species of plants not historically found in California that spread outside cultivated areas and can damage environmental or economic resources. Invasive species may be regulated by county agricultural agencies as noxious species. Lists of invasive plants are maintained at the California Invasive Plant Inventory and USDA invasive and noxious weeds database.
PCBs means polychlorinated biphenyls.
Organic Materials means, for the purposes of Section 9.4 of the Act, any chemical compound of carbon, including diluents and thinners which are liquids at standard conditions and which are used as dissolvers, viscosity reducers or cleaning agents, including polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins, polychlorinated dibenzofurans and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons but excluding methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, carbonic acid, metallic carbonic acid, metallic carbide, metallic carbonates, and ammonium carbonate are not organic materials.
