Industrial users definition

Industrial users means any plant producing liquid waste, with or without bearing suspended solids, required to be discharged either with or without Pretreatment, into the Authority’s wastewater system.
Industrial users means and includes establishments engaged in manufacturing activities involving the mechanical or chemical transformation of materials or substance into products.

Industrial users means any non-governmental, non-residential users of a publicly owned treatment works which discharges more than the equivalent of 25,000 gallons per day (gpd) of sanitary waste and which is identified in the Standard Industrial Classification Manual, 1972, Office of Management and Budget, as amended and supplemented under one of the following divisions:
Industrial users means all industrial users classified in the Standard Industrial Classifications Manual, 1972, Office of Management and Budget, as amended, in Divisions A, B, D, and E and those Division 1 customers discharging other than segregated domestic wastes.
Industrial users means those non-residential users excluding multiple dwellings and health care facilities.
Industrial users means any User who discharges to the POTW any Wastewater Discharge resulting from processes employed in industry or manufacturing, or from development of any natural resources, and identified in the Standard Industrial Classification Manual, 1972, Office of Management and Budget, as amended and supplemented, under divisions A, B, D, E, and I or any user discharging Wastewater that may be classified as industrial Wastewater as determined by the Director. An Industrial User introduces an Indirect Discharge as defined by the USEPA and OEPA as the Discharge or introduction of Pollutants into the POTW from any Non-Domestic Source and not directly discharging into the waters of the State.
