Independent Affiliate definition

Independent Affiliate means a cable operator who is or was availing the signals of the Zee Group Channels directly from ZEEL in terms of a separate agreement between ZEEL and such cable operator.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any Distributor of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the STAR Channels directly from STAR in terms of a separate agreement between STAR and the Independent Affiliate.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any Distributor of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the TVTN Channels directly from TVTN under a separate agreement between the Independent Affiliate and TVTN.

• Further, the DPO agrees and acknowledges that the DPO shall be entitled to connect or make available the signals of Channels through the Distribution System to any Independent Affiliate, only upon execution of a written agreement and clearance of all the outstanding amounts payable by the Independent Affiliate to STAR until such time the Independent Affiliate was availing the signals of Channels under their agreement with STAR.

More Definitions of Independent Affiliate

Independent Affiliate means a cable operator who is or was availing the signals of the CMPL Group Channels directly from CMPL in terms of a separate agreement between CMPL and such cable operator. "Interconnection" means commercial and technical arrangements under which DPO and CMPL connect their equipment and networks to provide signals of CMPL Group Channels to the subscribers. “Interconnection Agreement” with all its grammatical variations and cognate expressions means agreements on interconnection providing technical and commercial terms and conditions for distribution of signals of CMPL Group Channel “Interconnection Regulation 2017” shall mean the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable System) Regulation, 2017 dated 3rdMarch, 2017 issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

Independent Affiliate for the purposes of this SLA shall mean any DPO of Television Channels who is or was availing the signals of the Channels directly from STAR in terms of a separate agreement between STAR and the Independent Affiliate and shall include its LCOs and/or direct subscribers to whom STBs are issued by such Independent Affiliate;

Independent Affiliate means a cable operator/Multi-system Operator who is or was availing the signals of the ZMCL Channels directly from ZMCL in terms of a separate agreement between ZMCL and such cable operator.

Independent Affiliate means, with respect to a Change in Control of Licensor, an Affiliate of Licensor that was not an Affiliate of Licensor prior to such Change in Control and is not a successor in interest to any Affiliate of Licensor that was an Affiliate of Licensor prior to such Change in Control.

Independent Affiliate has the meaning set forth in Section 1.62 (Control).
