Improvement Action definition

Improvement Action means any one or more of the following actions by the Employer in respect of an Employee for the purpose of improving the performance or conduct of the Employee: (i) counselling; (ii) training and development; or (iii) any other action of a similar nature.
Improvement Action means the work that the Operator must carry out pursuant to the Plan to improve performance of its obligations under Clause 6-30 and Schedule 44; or which an Operator may be required to carry out pursuant to the exercise by the Ticketing and Settlement Scheme Council of its Reserve Powers.
Improvement Action a finding raised by UKAS recording a nonconformity against the assessment criteria (e.g. relevant international standard / conformity assessment body standard), including the Conformity Assessment Body's own management system requirements, or identifying an opportunity for improvement. These can be recorded as either mandatory or recommended;

Examples of Improvement Action in a sentence

  • Employees who have been identified as “designated” will be provided with an Employee Improvement Action Plan within thirty (30) calendar days of the designation, which will identify the specific conditions leading to the designation and improvements necessary to avoid such designations in the future.

  • Designations pursuant to this section will remain in effect until the next scheduled retention rating review exercise or until the employee satisfactorily completes the Improvement Action Plan and has been removed from designation.

  • Improvement Action - means the work that the Licensee must carry out pursuant to the Plan to improve performance of their obligations under the Agreement or which the Licensee may be required to carry out.

  • In the event that, during an audit or any other time during the term of this Addendum, United discovers any deficiency(ies) in Vendor’s delegated activities, Vendor shall develop an Improvement Action Plan for the specific activity that United determines to be deficient.

  • For the renovations and conversions of the building necessary thereto, CONTRA shall be availing itself of funding from the Wiener Wirtschaftsförderungsfonds [Vienna Business Agency (VBA)] in accordance with the Wiener Strukturverbesserungsaktion 2005 [Vienna Structural Improvement Action 2005] (municipal council decision of 17 December 2004, Pr.Z. 05580-2004 / 0001-GFW).

  • If Ricoh is engaged to provide Transformation Services, then a Ricoh [Service Delivery Manager] will work with Customer in good faith to develop a “Continuous Improvement Action Plan” which shall be intended to work towards a reduction in Customer’s total cost of ownership of Covered Equipment, improved productivity of the Covered Equipment and/or increased efficiency in Customer’s document based business processes.

  • Within one (1) year of Loan Agreement effectiveness, the Participating Utility shall adopt the O&M Improvement Action Plan, and shall thereafter take all necessary measures to implement such plan.
