Impervious Fill definition
Impervious Fill means suitable materials when placed and compacted will form an effective water barrier.
Impervious Fill has the meaning set out in Section 31 70 00 of Appendix 6-2 [Technical Specifications];
Impervious surface means a surface that has been covered with a layer of material so that it is highly resistant to infiltration by water.
Impervious area means any surface that does not allow stormwater to infiltrate into the ground.
Pervious surface means an area that releases as runoff a small portion of the precipitation that falls on it. Lawns, gardens, parks, forests or other similar vegetated areas are examples of surfaces that typically are pervious.
Regulated impervious surface means any of the following, alone or in combination:
Impervious cover means a surface composed of material that significantly impedes or prevents natural infiltration of water into soil.
