Immunocompromised Patients definition

Immunocompromised Patients means human patients whose immune system is not functioning normally because of an immunodeficiency disorder or other disease, or as the result of the administration of immunosuppressive drugs or other drugs that may indirectly cause a reduction of the immune system function. For the avoidance of doubt, elderly patients and pregnant women shall not be deemed Immunocompromised Patients solely because such patients are elderly or pregnant, respectively.
