Immediate care definition

Immediate care means where a child or young person is under the supervision of a parent or a responsible adult.
Immediate care means that an animal is under the care of a veterinarian where the following conditions are met:

  • Immediate care would include the examination, veterinarian recommended urgent diagnostics and initial treatment of an animal to ensure they are stabilized, not in pain or distress, or euthanized as recommended by the Veterinarian under the PCA Act for Critical Distress.
