Illuminated signs definition

Illuminated signs means signs which are designed to give forth artificial light from an artificial source. Such signs may be directly or indirectly illuminated and shall include interior lighted signs.
Illuminated signs means signs in which all or a portion of the message is outlined by fluorescent tubes, low-wattage lamps or other lot brightness sources or by floodlighting the surface of the sign.
Illuminated signs means any sign that uses internal or exposed illumination including, but not limited to, electric lamps, neon tubing, light emitting diodes and liquid crystal displays. Illuminated signs shall not employ the use of strobe lighting. All illuminated signs shall be considered as a discretionary use;
