I - Mediation. At the request of any party to the dispute, claim or controversy of the matter shall be referred to the nearest office of J-A-M-S for mediation, that is, an informal, non-binding conference or conferences between the parties in which a retired judge or justice for the J-A-M-S panel will seek to guide the parties to a resolution of the case.
