Tetrahydrocannabinol means the natural or synthetic equivalents of the substances contained in the plant, or in the resinous extractives of, Cannabis sativa, or any synthetic substances, compounds, salts, or derivatives of the plant or chemicals and their isomers with similar chemical structure and pharmacological activity.
DNA means deoxyribonucleic acid.
Total tetrahydrocannabinol means the sum of the percentage by weight of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid multiplied by eight hundred seventy-seven thousandths plus the percentage of weight of tetrahydrocannabinol.
Cannabinoid edible means food or potable liquid into which a cannabinoid concentrate, cannabinoid extract or dried marijuana leaves or flowers have been incorporated.
Catalyst means a substance whose presence enhances the reaction between chemical compounds.
Cannabinoid means any of the chemical compounds that are the active constituents of marijuana.
CMC means Comprehensive maintenance Contract (labour, spare and preventive maintenance)
Cell Line means the cell line, particulars of which are set out in Schedule 1.
Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.
Cannabidiol means a finished preparation containing, of its total cannabinoid content, at least 98 percent cannabidiol and not more than 0.90 percent tetrahydrocannabinol by volume that has been extracted from marijuana or synthesized in a laboratory.
Cannabinoid extract means a substance obtained by separating cannabinoids from marijuana by:
Biomarker means a parameter or characteristic in a patient or Patient Sample, the measurement of which is useful (a) for purposes of selecting appropriate therapies or patient populations or monitoring disease susceptibility, severity or state, or monitoring therapies for such patient and/or (b) for predicting the outcome of a particular treatment of such patient.
PTC means the tax credit for electricity produced from certain renewable generation resources described in Section 45 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as it may be amended or supplemented from time to time.
Gene Therapy means a product or service for the treatment or prevention of a disease that utilizes ex vivo or in vivo delivery (via viral or nonviral gene transfer methods or systems) of Genetic Material, including any cell incorporating Genetic Material.
Stratum means any part of land consisting of a space of any shape below, on or above the surface of the land, or partly below and partly above the surface of the land, the dimensions of which are delineated;
Seed means seed in the botanical sense other than seed not intended for planting;
VET means vocational education and training.
scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;
Embryo/fetus means the developing human organism from conception until the time of birth.

DS Electric generation service that is provided at retail pursuant to the Applicable Legal Authorities under the Company’s retail electric tariffs and under any other agreements or arrangements between the Company and Customers, to any Customer that is not being served by an EGS.
