Hubbing definition

Hubbing means traffic aggregation via a central application or traffic re-routing to a central application.
Hubbing role, a means of connection for travellers passing through. The pressure on terminals has been eased by Terminal 5, and „Heathrow East‟ is to replace T1 & 2; but the runways remain congested. A third runway and sixth terminal would bring business benefits as well as more runway capacity – though the economic benefits of „hubbing‟ are doubted.
