Household refuse means waste material and trash normally accumulated by a household in the course of ordinary day-to-day living.

Household refuse means garbage or refuse of any kind or character from a private home, private property, or private campsite. The term includes trash as defined in Section 8.24.020(M). A public trash receptacle is not a suitable container, storage place or depository for household refuse.
Household refuse and/or “industrial refuse” shall mean all liquid or solid waste generated by residential and/or industrial activities. This includes, but is not limited to, sludges and residues of treated wastes.
Household refuse means and includes any and all rejected, abandoned or discarded waste or vegetable or animal food, floor sweeping, crockery, glass or metal ware having contained food, including grass, hedge clippings, or other garden refuse or rubbish, but does not include special waste or offal.
