  • Affected Employees means those employees who are exposed to the hazard(s) identified as a violation(s) in a citation.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.
