HOME Funds definition

HOME Funds has the meaning set forth in Paragraph B of the Recitals.

HOME Funds means Home Investment Partnerships Act funds provided from HUD to the County pursuant to the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxx National Housing Act of 1990, which must be used in accordance with 24 C.F.R. Part 92.

HOME Funds. HOME funds are available to the City pursuant to HOME Investment Partnership Agreement between the City and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

• A default under this Agreement, in the discretion of the Consortium, may be considered a default of any other Agreement between the Grantee and Consortium for any HOME Funds program.

• If an Ownership Entity is prohibited from participating for 5 consecutive calendar years, the Ownership Entity will be permanently banned from applying for any AHFA-funded programs (Housing Credits, HOME Funds, Housing Trust Fund or Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds).

• If a Management Company is prohibited from participating on any application for 5 consecutive calendar years, the Management Company will be permanently banned from participating on any program applications for any AHFA-funded programs (Housing Credits, HOME Funds, Housing Trust Fund or Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds).

• If a tie(s) still remains, priority will be given to the application that has applied for HOME Funds.

• Under no circumstance can an application or reservation for combined Housing Credits and HOME Funds be decoupled in order to circumvent the more restrictive requirement(s) as determined by AHFA.

More Definitions of HOME Funds

HOME Funds means funds derived from the federal grants to the City of Charlotte under HOME, including program income as defined in HUD regulations for HOME.
