HIPAA Privacy Standards definition

HIPAA Privacy Standards means the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information at 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164 (Subparts A & E).
HIPAA Privacy Standards means the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information promulgated pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, 45 C.F.R. section 160.101, et seq., as they may be amended from time to time.
HIPAA Privacy Standards means the Standards for the Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information, which is part of the Privacy Laws.

  • Buyer shall respond to individuals’ requests for accountings of disclosures of protected health information for periods prior to the Effective Time in accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Standards.

  • The Surveyed Organization shall obtain all necessary authorizations required under the HIPAA Privacy Standards as are necessary to allow FACT to fulfill its obligations under the Underlying Agreement and this Addendum.

  • The Company and its Subsidiaries are not in breach, default, or violation in any material respect of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), the regulations promulgated thereunder (including without limitation, the HIPAA Privacy Standards, HIPAA Security Standards, and HIPAA Transactions Standards), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act or any applicable state Laws relating to the confidentiality of medical information.

  • I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Patient Handbook, which contains Patient Rights and Responsibilities, Supplier Standards, and HIPAA Privacy Standards.

  • To fullest extent permitted under law, the liability limitations of this Agreement will apply to any services or acts undertaken by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ as a business associate as defined in the HIPAA Privacy Standards (45 CFR Parts 160 and 164).

  • The Seller acknowledges and agrees that notwithstanding the foregoing, Buyer shall not assume any legal obligations of the Seller under the HIPAA Privacy Standards relating to uses and disclosures of protected health information made prior to the Effective Time with respect to the applicable Store.
