Highway User Revenues means, pursuant to Title 8, Subtitle 4 of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland (2015 Replacement Volume (“Title 8, Subtitle 4”), as amended and supplemented), certain motor vehicle fuel taxes and fees, a portion of an excise tax on the fair market value of motor vehicles for which title certificates are issued, net receipts from motor vehicle registration fees, a portion of the net receipts of the State’s corporation income tax, and a portion of the sales and use tax on short-term vehicle rentals. “[I]ts portion of Highway User Revenues” means the proceeds of Highway User Revenues allocated to the Participant in accordance with the terms of Title 8, Subtitle 4.
