Higher Duties Allowance means the difference in salary between the incremental point of the salary range applicable to the substantive designation and the minimum incremental point of the salary range applicable to the higher duty designation or the applicable incremental point determined in accordance with by-laws 23.2 to 23.5; and

  • C7.1 Higher Duties Allowance (HDA) is payable to an officer who is directed to temporarily perform the duties of a position with a higher classification.

Higher Duties Allowance where an employee is called on to perform work at a level above their current classification level; the employee shall be paid the rate prescribed for such higher classification level under Table 1 of Part BPart B – Rates of Pay & Allowances, Table 1 - Rates Pay and Allowances of this Agreement for all work so performed.
