heterosexual means a person who is emotionally and sexually attracted to persons of a different gender.
heterosexual and “patriarchy.” It means the social relations in which the ideology that there are two genders, that being straight and cis and male is better than being queer and trans and female/feminine. It upholds the relations that create gender and sexual marginalization and oppress gender and sexually marginalized people.
