Hedged Share Class definition

Hedged Share Class or ’Hedged Share Classes’ means (according to the context) a Portfolio Currency Hedged Share Class or a Reference Currency Hedged Share Class.

Hedged Share Class means any Share Class with the term “(Hedged)” in its name, including the Index Hedged Share Classes and the Portfolio Hedged Share Classes;

Hedged Share Class means any Share Class with the term “(Hedged)” in its name;

Examples of Hedged Share Class in a sentence

• The use of the NAV Hedge may substantially limit the holders of the relevant Currency Hedged Share Class from benefiting if the currency of the Currency Hedged Share Class decreases in value relative to the Base Currency.

• The use of the Portfolio Hedge may substantially limit the holders of the relevant Currency Hedged Share Class from benefiting if the class currency of the Currency Hedged Share Class decreases in value relative to the currencies in which the underlying assets of the Sub-Fund being hedged are denominated.

• A Sub-Fund that hedges foreign exchange risk for any Currency Hedged Share Class may enter into forward foreign exchange contracts in order to hedge some or all of the foreign exchange risk for the relevant Currency Hedged Share Class.

• Where currency hedging transactions are entered into to hedge any relevant currency exposure in respect of a Currency Hedged Share Class, each such transaction will be clearly attributable to the specific Currency Hedged Share Class and any costs shall be for the account of that Currency Hedged Share Class only.

• Where suchhedging is undertaken, the class currency of the Currency Hedged Share Class is systematically hedged to the Base Currency.

More Definitions of Hedged Share Class

Hedged Share Class means a Class whose denominated currency is hedged against exchange rate fluctuations as set out in the section entitled Share Class Hedging;

Hedged Share Class means, for the purposes of this Fund, any Class which has a Class Currency that is different to the Base Currency of the Fund being the U.S. Dollar;

Hedged Share Class or ‘Hedged Share Classes’ means (according to the context) share class or classes which allow the use of currency hedging transactions to reduce the effect of exchange rate fluctuations between the Reference Currency or Reference Currencies and the Hedged Currency.

Hedged Share Class means a Share Class in respect of which the ICAV mayconduct currency hedging as specified in the Supplement for the relevant Fund where the benefits and costs of such hedging transactions will accrue solely to holders of Shares of such Class, and which may be a Hedged Currency Share Class;

Hedged Share Class means any Class that includes “(H)” in its name;
