Healthcare provider means a healthcare practitioner, person, or facility licensed, authorized, certified, registered, or regulated under title 33, title 63, title 68, federal law or order, or an executive order of the governor, including but not limited to any employees, agents, or contractors of such a practitioner, person, or facility, and residents, interns, students, fellows, or volunteers of an accredited school or of such school's affiliated teaching or training hospitals or programs in this state;
Healthcare Professional means any member of the medical, dental, pharmacy or nursing professions or any other person who in the course of his or her professional activities may prescribe, recommend, purchase, supply, or administer a pharmaceutical product.
Healthcare services means services or goods provided for
Medical personnel means those persons assigned, by a Party to the conflict, exclusively to the medical purposes enumerated under subparagraph (e) or to the administration of medical units or to the operation or administration of medical transports. Such assignments may be either permanent or temporary. The term includes:
Educational personnel means persons who must meet requirements pursuant to state law as a condition of employment in educational programs.
COVERED HEALTHCARE SERVICES means any service, treatment, procedure, facility, equipment, drug, device, or supply that we have reviewed and determined is eligible for reimbursement under this plan.
Health Care Operations shall have the meaning given to such term under the HIPAA 2 Privacy Rule in 45 CFR § 164.501.
Family child care provider means a person who: (a) Provides
Primary care physician or “PCP” means a Plan Provider who has an independent contractor agreement with HPN to assume responsibility for arranging and coordinating the delivery of Covered Services to Members. A Primary Care Physician’s agreement with HPN may terminate. In the event that a Member’s Primary Care Physician’s agreement terminates, the Member will be required to select another Primary Care Physician.
School personnel means professional employee or professional’s delegate of the school district who provides health, educational, social, psychological, law enforcement, or child care services.
Healthcare shall have the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph hereof.
Healthcare Laws means all applicable statutes, laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of any Governmental Authority with respect to regulatory matters primarily relating to patient healthcare, healthcare providers and healthcare services (including without limitation Section 1128B(b) of the Social Security Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section 1320a-7(b) (Criminal Penalties Involving Medicare or State Health Care Programs), commonly referred to as the "Federal Anti-Kickback Statute," and the Social Security Act, as amended, Section 1877, 42 U.S.C. Section 1395nn (Prohibition Against Certain Referrals), commonly referred to as "Xxxxx Statute").
Child care provider means a provider who receives compensation for providing child care services on a regular basis, including an ‘eligible child care provider’ (as defined in section 658P of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 9858n)).
Hospice means a public agency or private organization licensed pursuant to Chapter 400, Florida Statutes, to provide Hospice services. Such licensed entity must be principally engaged in providing pain relief, symptom management, and supportive services to terminally ill Members and their families.
Supportive personnel means unlicensed individuals who:
Resident Personnel means such persons who at the time of being so hired had their domicile inside India;
Health care professional means a physician or other health care practitioner licensed, accredited or certified to perform specified health care services consistent with state law.
Hospital clinic means an outpatient care clinic operated and affiliated with a hospital and under the direct authority of the hospital’s P&T committee.
Health care provider or "provider" means:
Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.
Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.
Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.
Child Care Program means a person or business that offers child care.
Psychiatric hospital means an Institution constituted, licensed, and operated as set forth in the laws that apply to Hospitals, which meets all of the following requirements:
Key Management Personnel means persons having authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the Company, directly or indirectly, including any Director (whether executive or otherwise) of the Company;
Health-related services means the same as in A.R.S. § 36-401.
