STATUTORY ACTS means all the State and Central Government statutes and regulations effecting the operation of the services under this Agreement as may be in force from time to time and shall particularly include but not be limited to the following;
Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.
Health Agency means the California Department of Health Services, or the local health officer with respect to a small water system.
Data Protection Acts means Data Protection Act 1988, as amended by the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003, and as may be modified, amended, supplemented, consolidated or re- enacted from time to time;
Accident and health insurance means contracts that incorporate morbidity risk and provide protection against economic loss resulting from accident, sickness, or medical conditions and as may be specified in the valuation manual.
Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
HITECH Act means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, TitleXIII, Subtitle D, Part 1 & 2 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Health care plan means any contract, policy or other arrangement for benefits or services for medical or dental care or treatment under:
Health agent means the Health Agent for the Wellesley Board of Health or his/her designee.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, as amended.

Health and Safety Laws means all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, secondary legislation, by-laws, directives, treaties and other measures, judgments and decisions of any court or tribunal, codes of practice and guidance notes which are legally binding and in force as at the date of this Agreement in so far as they relate to or apply to the health and safety of any person.
Mental Health Worker means an individual that assists in planning, developing and evaluating mental health services for Clients; provides liaison between Clients and service providers; and has obtained a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field such as psychology, counseling, or social work, or has two years of experience providing client related services to Clients experiencing mental health, drug abuse or alcohol disorders. Education in a behavioral science field such as psychology, counseling, or social work may be substituted for up to one year of the experience requirement.
Ontario Health means the corporation without share capital under the name Ontario Health as continued under the CCA;
HIPAA means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended.
the Planning Acts means the Town and Country Planning Act 0000 xxx Planning (Consequential Provisions) Act 0000 xxx Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 0000 xxx the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 or any statutory consolidation modification or re-enactment of all or any of the above Acts
Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including PPO, EPO and HDHP coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and AD&D, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Information Acts means the Data Protection Legislation, FOIA and the EIR, as amended from time to time; Intellectual Property Rights or IPRs means copyright, rights related to or affording protection similar to copyright, rights in databases, patents and rights in inventions semi-conductor topography rights, trade marks, rights in internet domain names and website addresses and other rights in trade names, designs, know-how, trade secrets and any modifications, amendments, updates and new releases of the same and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or will subsist now or in the future in any part of the world;
Infectious Disease means an illness that is capable of being spread from one individual to another.
Health and Human Services or “HHS” includes HHSC and DSHS.
Health means physical or mental health; and
Mental health therapist means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-60-102.
Health practitioner means a registered health practitioner registered or licensed as a health practitioner under an appropriate law of the State of Tasmania.
Home health aide means an individual employed by a home health agency to provide home health services under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist.
Health screening means the use of one or more diagnostic tools to test a person for the presence or precursors of a particular disease.
