Guardianship assistance definition

Guardianship assistance means assistance provided by the Department to the guardian on behalf of an eligible child or young adult to offset costs associated with meeting the ongoing needs of the child or young adult. "Guardianship assistance" may be in the form of a payment, medical coverage, or reimbursement of guardianship expenses.
