Group A Obligor definition

Group A Obligor means any Obligor (or its parent or majority owner, as applicable, if such Obligor is not rated) with a short-term rating of at least: (a) “A-1” by S&P, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from S&P, a rating of “A+” or better by S&P on such Obligor’s, its parent’s, or its majority owner’s (as applicable) long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities, or (b) “P-1” by Moody’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Moody’s, “Al” or better by Moody’s on such Obligor’s, its parent’s or its majority owner’s (as applicable) long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities; provided, that if an Obligor (or its parent or majority owner, as applicable, if such Obligor is not rated) receives a split rating from S&P and Moody’s, then such Obligor (or its parent or majority owner, as applicable) shall be deemed to have only the lower of the two rating for the purpose of determining whether such rating satisfies clauses (a) or (b) above. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any Obligor that is a Subsidiary of an Obligor that satisfies the definition of “Group A Obligor” shall be deemed to be a Group A Obligor and shall be aggregated with the Obligor that satisfies such definition for the purposes of determining the “Concentration Reserve Percentage”, the “Concentration Reserve” and clause (a) of the definition of “Excess Concentration” for such Obligors, unless such deemed Obligor separately satisfies the definition of “Group A Obligor”, “Group B Obligor”, or “Group C Obligor”, in which case such Obligor shall be separately treated as a Group A Obligor, a Group B Obligor or a Group C Obligor, as the case may be, and shall be aggregated and combined for such purposes with any of its Subsidiaries that are Obligors.
Group A Obligor means any Obligor with a short-term rating of at least: (a) “A-1” by Standard & Poor’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Standard & Poor’s, a rating of “A+” or better by Standard & Poor’s on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities, and (b) “P-1” by Moody’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Moody’s, “A1” or better by Moody’s on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities.
Group A Obligor. Group B Obligor” or “Group C Obligor” means any Obligor (or its parent or majority owner, as applicable, if such Obligor is not rated) with:

More Definitions of Group A Obligor

Group A Obligor means any Obligor (or, if such Obligor is not rated, its parent company) with a short-term rating of at least: (a) “A-1” by S&P, or if such Obligor (or, if applicable, such parent company) does not have a short-term rating from S&P, a long-term rating of “A+” or better by S&P, and (b) “P-1” by Moody’s, or if such Obligor (or, if applicable, such parent company) does not have a short-term rating from Moody’s, a long-term rating of “A1” or better by Moody’s.
Group A Obligor means any Obligor with a short-term rating of at least: (a) “A-1” by Standard & Poor’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Standard & Poor’s, a rating of “A+” or better by Standard & Poor’s on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities, and (b) “P-1” by Moody’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Moody’s, “A1” or better by Moody’s on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities. If both a short-term and long-term rating exist for an Obligor, the short-term rating will be used and if Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s ratings for an Obligor indicate a different group for such Obligor, the lower of such ratings shall be used.
Group A Obligor means an Obligor with a short-term senior unsecured indebtedness rating (or, if such Obligor does not have such a short-term rating, a long-term senior unsecured indebtedness rating) of at least “A-1” (or “A+”) by Standard & Poor’s and “P-1” (or “A1”) by Moody’s.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, any Obligor that is a Subsidiary of an Obligor that satisfies the definition of “Group A Obligor” shall be deemed to be a Group A Obligor and shall be aggregated with the Obligor that satisfies such definition for the purposes of determining the “Concentration Reserve Percentage”, the “Concentration Reserve” and clause (a) of the definition of “Excess Concentration” for such Obligors, unless such deemed Obligor separately satisfies the definition of “Group A Obligor”, “Group B Obligor”, or “Group C Obligor”, in which case such Obligor shall be separately treated as a Group A Obligor, a Group B Obligor or a Group C Obligor, as the case may be, and shall be aggregated and combined for such purposes with any of its Subsidiaries that are Obligors.
Group A Obligor means any Obligor that has an “Obligor Group” of “A+” as determined in accordance with the table set forth below the definition of Concentration Limit.
Group A Obligor means an Obligor with: (a) a short-term rating of at least “A-1” by S&P, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from S&P, a rating of “A+” or better by S&P on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities, and (b) a short-term rating of at least “P-1” by Moody’s, or if such Obligor does not have a short-term rating from Moody’s, “A1” or better by Moody’s on its long-term senior unsecured and uncredit-enhanced debt securities; provided, however, if such Obligor is rated by only one of such Rating Agencies, then such Obligor will be deemed to be a “Group B Obligor” if it satisfies either clause (a) or clause (b) above. If both a short-term and long-term rating exist for an Obligor, the short-term rating will be used and if S&P’s and Moody’s ratings for an Obligor indicate a different group for such Obligor, the higher of such ratings shall be used. If an Obligor is a Governmental Authority, such Obligor shall be deemed to have the ratings assigned to the relevant governmental unit, if any.
Group A Obligor means any Obligor whose (or if such Obligor is a subsidiary of another Person, whose ultimate parent’s) unsecured short-term senior non-credit-enhanced debt, is rated no lower than A-1 by S&P and P-1 by Moody’s, if such rating exists, or if such Obligor’s unsecured short-term senior non-credit-enhanced debt is not rated by either S&P or Moody’s, such Obligor’s Debt Rating, if such rating exists, is no lower than A by S&P and A2 by Moody’s; provided, that if none of the foregoing ratings exist, such Obligor shall not be a “Group A Obligor”.
