Grooming behavior definition
Grooming behavior means actions deliberately undertaken by an offender with the aim of befriending a child in order to lower the child’s sexual inhibitions or establish an intimate friendship in preparation for a sexual act with the child.
Grooming behavior means engaging in a pattern of flirtatious behavior, making any effort to gain unreasonable access to, or time alone with any student with no discernible educational purpose, engaging in any behavior that can reasonably be construed as involving an inappropriate, overly personal, or intimate relationship with or conduct toward or focus on a student, and engaging in any other individualized, special treatment not in compliance with generally accepted educational practices.
Grooming behavior means any behavior, which in light of all relevant circumstances, constitutes actions to entice or entrap a student or students with the intent to make such student or students engage in a sex act.
