Green Circled rates shall be adjusted to the appropriate wage grade recognizing the incumbent's status within the existing wage grade increments structure, effective the date the new rating was finalized by the Committee, or immediately following appeal proceedings noted under Article 5 of this Manual of Procedures, if the latter.

Examples of Green Circled in a sentence

  • An employee (other than an employee who is being paid a Green Circled Rate) who is transferred or assigned to a lower paid Classification shall be placed at the same Wage Grid Step in the lower paid Classification as she was in prior to the transfer or assignment.

  • If the employee who is transferred or assigned to the lower paid Classification was being paid a Green Circled Rate immediately prior to the transfer or assignment, she shall be placed at the top Step of the Wage Grid for the lower paid Classification.

Green Circled means that an employee will advance through the employee’s current pay increments to the maximum pay level in the normal manner. Should the new pay scale for the classification exceed the pay scale at which the green circling occurred, the employee will move to the new pay scale. Negotiated general wage increases will apply.
