Government Official definition
Government Official means any officer, employee, official, representative, or any Person acting for or on behalf of any Official Body, government-owned or government-controlled association, organization, business, or enterprise, or public international organization, any political party or official thereof and any candidate for political office.
Government Official means (i) any officer, employee or other person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of a government or any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, (ii) any officer, employee or other person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of a public international organization (such as the United Nations, World Bank, or World Health Organization), (iii) any political party or official thereof or any candidate for political office, and (iv) any family members or representatives of any of the individuals listed above.
Government Official means any officer or employee of a Governmental Authority or any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, including state-owned entities, or of a public organization or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any such government, department, agency, or instrumentality or on behalf of any such public organization.

With respect to any Licensed Compound, Licensed Product, or activity performed or to be performed by Vir Bio in connection with this Agreement, Vir Bio has not taken any action directly or indirectly to unlawfully offer, promise, or pay, or authorize the offer or payment of, any money or anything of value in order to improperly or corruptly seek to influence any Government Official or any other person in order to gain an improper advantage, and has not accepted any such unlawful payment.

Government Official means (a) any official, officer, employee, or representative of, or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of, any Governmental Authority, (b) any salaried political party official, elected member of political office or candidate for political office, or (c) any company, business, enterprise or other entity owned or controlled by any person described in the foregoing clauses;
