Generator Interconnection Agreement definition

Generator Interconnection Agreement or “GIA” means, for Projects interconnecting at the transmission level, the agreement and associated documents (or any successor agreement and associated documentation approved by FERC) by and among Seller, the Participating Transmission Owner, and the CAISO governing the terms and conditions of Seller’s interconnection with the CAISO Grid, including any description of the plan for interconnecting to the CAISO Grid. For Projects interconnecting at the distribution level, it means the agreement and associated documents (or any successor agreement and associated documentation) by and between Seller and the Participating Transmission Owner governing the terms and conditions of Seller’s interconnection with the Participating TO’s distribution system, including any description of the plan for interconnecting to Participating TO’s distribution system.
Generator Interconnection Agreement means the generator interconnection agreement between the qualifying facility and qualifying facility’s interconnection provider.
Generator Interconnection Agreement or “GIA” means an agreement and any associated procedures and processes, among PPI, the owner of a QF, the Member, the member-consumer, and, the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), all as applicable. The GIA shall be generally in the standard form developed by the Cooperative or Member, governing the design, engineering, safe and reliable operations, procurement, construction, installation, ownership, operation, maintenance, facilities, metering, costs, cost recovery, and other matters related to the interconnection of any electric generation facility to the electric transmission system of PPI or to the electric distribution system of a Member consistent with the requirements of NERC Reliability Standard FAC- 001.
