General Purpose Server definition

General Purpose Server means an industry standard server running any operating system (including, but not limited to, Solaris, Windows, AIX, HP-UX and UNIX) for the purposes of hosting end customer applications such as databases and email applications.
General Purpose Server means a server that provides server functions that an End User can modify to add hardware, applications, or enable services which add significant functions to, or in place of, the task-specific functions of an Embedded System.
