General public knowledge definition

General public knowledge means knowledge which has been disseminated to the general public, including information in newspapers of general circulation or radio or television reports in the geographic area affected by the discharge. In order to demonstrate general public knowledge, it shall not be necessary to prove that any members of the public have actually acquired such knowledge but only that the information has been disseminated.

  • General public , shall mean all individual and Institutional Investors including both Pakistani (residents & non- residents) and foreign investors;

  • Best Knowledge means both what a Person knew as well as what the Person should have known had the Person exercised reasonable diligence. When used with respect to a Person other than a natural person, the term "Best Knowledge" shall include matters that are known to the directors and officers of the Person.

  • Public Key means the key of a key pair used to verify a digital signature and listed in the Digital Signature Certificate;

  • Local public body means every political subdivision of the state and the agencies, instrumentalities and institutions thereof, including two-year post-secondary educational institutions, school districts and local school boards and municipalities, except as exempted pursuant to the Procurement Code.

  • Knowledge means actual knowledge after reasonable investigation.
