General Nursing definition

General Nursing means (a) in the case of female Nurses the training in the nursing of men, women and children and (b) in the case of Male Nurses the training in the nursing venereal patients for a period of not less than three years in any institutions authorised under rule 38.

Examples of General Nursing in a sentence

  • Inpatient – A Member who is admitted to the Hospital as a registered bed patient and for whom a Bed, Board, and General Nursing Service charge is made.

  • Bed, Board and General Nursing Service – Room accommodations, meals, and all general services and activities that Hospital employees provide to care for patients.

  • Incremental nursing charges which are in addition to the Hospital’s standard charge for Bed, Board and General Nursing Service; charges for luxury accommodations or any accommodations in any Hospital or Allied Health Facility provided primarily for the patient’s convenience; or Bed, Board and General Nursing Service in any other room at the same time Benefits are provided for use of a Special Care Unit.

  • Job requires current practicing certificate issued by the Victorian Nursing Council in General Nursing, Midwifery and Maternal and Child Health Nursing.

  • Inpatient – A Member who is admitted to a Hospital as a registered bed patient for whom a Bed, Board and General Nursing Service charge is made.

  • This includes the policies and procedures listed in the Policies and Procedures Manual and Duties of General Nursing at LCCC (jail).

  • Bed, Board and General Nursing Service – Room accommodations, meals and all general services and activities provided by a Hospital employee for the care of a patient.

  • This Arrangement only covers members under age twenty-one (21), who do not reside in any of the following types of facility:  State Mental Retardation Center  Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded  South Mountain Restoration Center  County Nursing Facility  General Nursing Facility  Hospice  Intermediate Care Facility for Persons with Other Related Conditions  Residential Skilled Pediatric Facility B.

  • Previous service shall include time spent as a nursing employee in obtaining additional nursing certificates other than the General Nursing Certificate.

  • A nurse who is cross-trained in all General Nursing 14 units, but does not regularly work in those units, will be eligible for this differential only if 15 they work in the General Nursing units at least thirty (30) hours per quarter.
