GDDP means the General Directorate of Public Roads under MTME (as hereinafter defined);

  • Until completion of the Project, the Borrower shall maintain the PMU with resources and under terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank, and shall assign to it responsibility for overall Project management and coordination in close cooperation with the Coordinating Unit established in GDDP.

  • The Borrower shall prepare and discuss with the Bank not later than December 31, 1993, its plans and policies for the restructuring and eventual privatizing of (a) the former GDDP road and bridge construction enterprises and construction and maintenance units; and (b) the former national road transport enterprises.

  • The Borrower shall carry out the Project through MTME and GDDP in accordance with the requirements and details set forth or referred to in the PIP.

  • The Borrower shall: (a) not later than June 30, 1993 establish and thereafter maintain, within GDDP a Project Management Unit, under terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank; and (b) staff the Project Management Unit with qualified pro- fessionals and support staff in adequate numbers, including at least one consultant with skills in contract and financial management with terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank, to be employed not later than June 30, 1993.
