Industrial park means an area in a blighted or conservation area suitable for use by any manufacturing, industrial, research or transportation enterprise, of facilities to include but not be limited to factories, mills, processing plants, assembly plants, packing plants, fabricating plants, industrial distribution centers, warehouses, repair overhaul or service facilities, freight terminals, research facilities, test facilities or railroad facilities.
IMRO means the Irish Music Rights Organisation CLG.
Gang means a group that: (a) Consists of three or more
PEI means Petroleum Equipment Institute.
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
Fellowship means a fellowship in a professional medical college recognized by the Board after consultation with the Medical Advisory Committee.
ESBD means the Electronic State Business Daily, the electronic marketplace where State of Texas bid opportunities over $25,000 are posted. The ESBD may currently be accessed at http://www.txsmartbuy.com/sp.
LTD means NMC Healthcare Limited (in administration);
China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.
We/Our/Us means the Underwriters named in the Schedule.
Motorway means a road specially designed and built for motor traffic, which does not serve properties bordering on it, and which:
WURA means the Winding-Up and Restructuring Act (Canada).
DA or ‘Dubai Airports’ means Dubai Airports Corporation;
FA Finance Act;
Poppy straw means all parts, except the seeds, of the opium poppy, after mowing.
CJA means the Courts of Justice Act, RSO 1990, c C-43, as amended;
Marihuana means that term as defined in section 7106 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.7106.
Mauritius means the Republic of Mauritius and includes:
NABP means the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
SAQA means the South African Qualifications Authority established by section 3 of the South African Qualifications Authority Act, 1995 (Act 58 of 1995);
POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013;
SI means the abbreviation for the International System of Units.
Kerma or "K" means the quantity defined by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements. The kerma is the quotient of dEtr by dm, where dEtr is the sum of the initial kinetic energies of all charged particles liberated by uncharged particles in a mass dm of materials; thus K=dEtr/dm, in units of J/kg, where the special name for the units of kerma is gray (Gy). When the materials is air, the quantity is referred to as "air kerma."
LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;
SA means the booklet that describes the Health Care Coverage provided to Enrolled Members. The Subscriber Agreement(s) applicable to the initial Rating Period are listed in Section III.
