  • Electric cooperative means a not-for-profit electric light company that both is or has been financed in whole or in part under the "Rural Electrification Act of 1936," 49 Stat. 1363, 7 U.S.C. 901, and owns or operates facilities in this state to generate, transmit, or distribute electricity, or a not-for-profit successor of such company.

  • Assistance means any form of City financial assistance, except for financial assistance provided for the development, rehabilitation or other means of providing residential housing. Assistance includes but is not limited to: grants; economic development loans; tax credits, incentives and abatements; subsidies; and bonds.   • Refuse to Cooperate means to obstruct the collection or testing process; to submit an altered, adulterated or substitute sample; to fail to show up for a scheduled test; to refuse to complete the requested drug testing forms; or to fail to promptly provide specimen(s) for testing when directed to do so, without a valid medical basis for the failure. Employees who leave the scene of an accident without justifiable explanation prior to submission to drug and alcohol testing will also be considered to have refused to cooperate and will automatically be subject to discharge.

  • Purchasing cooperative means a group purchasing organization that governmental entities join as members and the managing en- tity of which receives fees from members or vendors.
