Funding Losses means expenses incurred by any Lender or any participant of such Lender permitted hereunder in connection with the re-employment of funds prepaid, repaid, not borrowed, or paid, as the case may be, and any lost profit of such Lender or any participant of such Lender over the remainder of the Eurodollar Advance Period for such prepaid Advance. For purposes of calculating amounts payable to a Lender hereunder with respect to Funding Losses, each Lender shall be deemed to have actually funded its relevant Eurodollar Advance through the purchase of a deposit bearing interest at the Eurodollar Rate in an amount equal to the amount of that Eurodollar Advance and having a maturity and repricing characteristics comparable to the relevant Eurodollar Advance Period; provided, however, that each Lender may fund each of its Eurodollar Advances in any manner it sees fit, and the foregoing assumption shall be utilized only for the calculation of amounts payable hereunder.
