Fund or fund definition

Fund or fund means the Virginia Community Flood Preparedness Fund created pursuant to § 10.1‐603.25 of the Code of Virginia.

  • Switching Fee On the switching of shares of a Fund or fund for shares of another Fund or fund a switching fee may be charged.

  • The application shall include general information identifying and describing the business, flow-through entity, Private Venture Capital Fund or fund, the amount, source and purpose of the investment, and terms and conditions of the investment.

  • Prospective investors should also be aware that if one or more events occurs in relation to the Fund or any fund manager, including insolvency of the Fund or fund manager, then the Issuer, may in its sole and absolute discretion, determine whether the Fund-Linked Notes should be amended or should be redeemed or terminated early.

  • The business, Private Venture Capital Fund or fund must certify that it is in compliance with all federal and State laws, including securities laws and regulations.

  • No Access Person (or member of his or her Immediate Family) shall purchase and sell or sell and purchase shares of the same Munder Fund or fund sub-advised by MCM (see Attachment I for a list of mutual funds sub-advised by MCM) in which such Access Person has a Beneficial Ownership interest within a 60 day calendar period.

  • Further, no Access Person (or member of his or her Immediate Family) shall exchange shares of one Munder Fund or fund sub-advised by an Adviser (with respect to which such Access Person has a Beneficial Ownership interest) for shares of another Munder Fund or fund sub-advised by an Adviser (with respect to which such Access Person has a Beneficial Ownership interest) within a 60 day calendar period.

  • No Access Person (or member of his or her Immediate Family) shall purchase and sell or sell and purchase shares of the same Munder Fund or fund sub-advised by an Adviser (see Attachment G for a list of mutual funds sub-advised by the Advisers) in which such Access Person has a Beneficial Ownership interest within a 60 day calendar period.

  • Investment Fund has the same meaning as in National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure;

  • Endowment fund means an institutional fund or part thereof that, under the terms of a gift instrument, is not wholly expendable by the institution on a current basis. The term does not include assets that an institution designates as an endowment fund for its own use.

  • Investment Funds means all monies and financial resources available for investment by the Authority, other than proceeds of bonds issued by the Authority.

  • Mutual Funds means (i) all open-end mutual funds; and (ii) similar pooled investment vehicles established in non-U.S. jurisdictions, such as registered investment trusts in Japan. For purposes of the Code, Mutual Fund does not include shares of open-end money market mutual funds (unless otherwise advised by Compliance).

  • Pooled Fund means any pooled fund established and maintained by the Partners as a pooled fund in accordance with the Regulations Pooled Fund Manager means such officer of the Host Partner which includes a Section 113 Officer for the relevant Pooled Fund established under an Individual Scheme as is nominated by the Host Partner from time to time to manage the Pooled Fund in accordance with Clause 8.2. Provider means a provider of any Services commissioned under the arrangements set out in this Agreement.

  • Sub-Fund means a segregated pool of assets and liabilities into which the Trust Fund is divided, established under the Trust Deed and the relevant supplemental deed as a separate trust as described in the relevant Appendix.

  • Member contribution means a contribution under regulation 32;

  • Fund means any Person (other than a natural person) that is (or will be) engaged in making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans and similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course of its activities.

  • Settlement Fund means the Settlement Amount plus any and all interest earned thereon.

  • New Fund means each of the series portfolios of the Trust, one of which shall correspond to one of the Current Funds as shown on Schedule A.

  • Special Fund means any fund other than the city general fund.

  • Retirement fund means the "Washington law enforcement

  • Member contributions means all amounts paid to ASRS by a member.

  • Program fund means the program fund established under section 12D.4.

  • Fund Value means the separate account assets associated with the Variable Annuity Business.

  • Fund Assets means the net assets of the Fund managed by the Subadviser for which the fee is being calculated;

  • Discretionary Assets means (i) securities that, if distributed, would be required to be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended; (ii) securities issued by entities in countries that (A) restrict or prohibit the holding of securities by non-nationals other than through qualified investment vehicles, or (B) permit transfers of ownership of securities to be effected only by transactions conducted on a local stock exchange; and (iii) any assets that, although they may be liquid and marketable, must be traded through the marketplace or with the counterparty to the transaction in order to effect a change in beneficial ownership."

  • Member Account means the regular account and the variable account.

  • Investment pool means an entity created under the Texas Gov- ernment Code to invest public funds jointly on behalf of the entities that participate in the pool and whose investment objectives in or- der of priority are preservation and safety of principal, liquidity, and yield.

  • Alternative Investment Vehicle means an entity created in accordance with the Operative Documents of a Borrower to make investments and that has the right to call on Capital Commitments directly from Investors.

  • Other Investments Account means the account established and maintained in the name of each Participant or Beneficiary to reflect his share of the Trust Fund, other than Company Stock.

  • Investment Option means any of the guaranteed investments and variable investment funds available under the Plan.
