Freshwater Layup definition

Freshwater Layup means the potable water or freshwater taken from surrounding waters that is discharged from the water cooling system while the vessel is in port, and the cooling system is in lay-up mode (a standby mode where seawater in the system is replaced with potable water for corrosion protection).
