Freelance Journalist definition

Freelance Journalist means a professional journalist associated with the Company, who is neither an employee of the Company nor receives regular salary from the Company.

  • Freelance Journalist agrees to use AMI’s travel agent in making necessary travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations and car rental.

  • AMI shall, or shall by contract, require any license to refer to Freelance Journalist as the Writer of the Work.

  • Should the editor ask the Freelance Journalist to make revisions, the Freelance Journalist shall promptly make changes to the Article as requested.

  • Freelance Journalist shall use his/her own equipment for the purposes of executing and completing the Work.

  • In writing the Work, Freelance Journalist shall be acting as an independent contractor and not as an agent or employee of AMI.
