Forging definition

Forging means a metal part worked to a predetermined shape by one or more of processes such as hammering, upsetting, pressing, spinning, etc.
Forging means the product of work on metal formed to a desired shape by impact or pressure in hammers, forging machines (upsetters), presses, rolls, and related forming equipment.
