FOIA Authority/Authorities definition

FOIA Authority/Authorities means a public authority as defined by FOIA and/or EIR;

  • Antitrust Authorities means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice, the United States Federal Trade Commission or the antitrust or competition Law authorities of any other jurisdiction (whether United States, foreign or multinational).

  • Aeronautical authorities means, in the case of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and, in the case of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Communications, or in the case of either of the Contracting Parties, any person or body authorized to perform any functions exercised by the said authorities.

  • Local authorities means every county, municipal, and other local board or body having authority to adopt police regulations under the constitution and laws of this state.

  • Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;

  • Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;

  • Regulatory Authorities means the Commissions and the Exchange;

  • competent authorities means the competent authorities of the Member States as identified on the websites listed in Annex II;

  • Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;

  • Governmental Authorities means governments, regulatory authorities, governmental departments, agencies, commissions, bureaus, officials, ministers, Crown corporations, courts, bodies, boards, tribunals or dispute settlement panels or other law, rule or regulation-making organizations or entities:

  • customs authorities means customs authorities as defined in Article 5, point (1), of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013;

  • Signing Authority means an officer or agent of the organization with written authorization to commit the legal entity to a binding agreement.

  • public authority means any authority or body or institution of self- government established or constituted—

  • Health Authority means the regional health board designated under the Health Authority Act, RSBC 1996, c.180, or the Provincial Health Services Authority, to which the Participant is designated under Section 5.4 of this Contract, unless designated otherwise by the Province;

  • contracting authorities means the State, regional or local authorities, bodies governed by public law or associations formed by one or more such authorities or one or more such bodies governed by public law;

  • Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities commission or similar regulatory authority in each province and territory of Canada that is responsible for administering the Canadian securities legislation in force in such jurisdictions;

  • former Authority means the Water Authority of Western Australia under the Water Authority Act 1984 2 before the commencement of Part 2 of the Water Agencies Restructure (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act 1995 3;

  • your authority ("eich awdurdod") means the relevant authority of which you are a member or co-opted member.

  • Antitrust Authority means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice or the United States Federal Trade Commission.

  • Central Authority means the entity designated by the United States or a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.

  • Relevant Authorities means any governmental or statutory authority with the

  • Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.

  • Foreign central authority means the entity designated by a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.

  • Regulatory Laws means all Applicable Laws governing (i) the import, export, testing, investigation, manufacture, marketing or sale of the Product, (ii) establishing recordkeeping or reporting obligations, (iii) any Field Action or (iv) similar regulatory matters.
