Firewatch definition

Firewatch means at least one competent person to be at the site(s) for one hour following the operation of spark-emitting equip- ment on class 3L days or above, or as determined by the department based on the national fire danger rating system and other fire danger conditions. The firewatch shall be vigilant and so located or posi- tioned to be able to detect within five minutes fires which may origi- nate at the site(s) of the equipment operation. The firewatch shall report a fire to the responsible protection agency within fifteen mi- nutes of detection.
Firewatch means the assignment of a person or persons to an area for the express purpose of assuming the responsibility of notifying the fire department, the building occupants, or both, of an emergency; preventing a fire from occurring; extinguishing small fires; or protecting the public from fire or life safety dangers;”

Examples of Firewatch in a sentence

  • The following are permitted to operate between the hours of 8 P.M. and 1 P.M. where mechanized equipment capable of constructing fire line is immediately available to quickly reach and effectively attack a fire start: Ground-based operations (defined below); Power saws on ground-based operations; Rotary head saw ▇▇▇▇▇▇-bunchers with a continuous Firewatch; Non-rotary head saw ▇▇▇▇▇▇-bunchers; Tethered logging systems (defined below).

  • In addition to other fire prevention measures, a Firewatch is required at this and all higher levels unless otherwise waived LEVEL II.

  • It is agreed between Firewatch Safety Results Group Pty Ltd and the customer that where Firewatch Safety Results Group Pty Ltd enters the premises of the customer to take possession of the goods and it is not possible to otherwise identify the ownership of the goods in the possession of the customer, the goods will be treated as though they were sold by the customer in the same sequences the customer has taken delivery of the goods.

  • If the quantity of the goods exceeds the amount owing, Firewatch Safety Results Group Pty Ltd will be entitled to determine which of the goods it claims ownership of the goods in.

  • The corporate and/or personal information collected may also be disclosed to organisations to which Firewatch Safety Results Group Pty Ltd out sources certain functions such as information technology providers, specialist advisers, accountants and solicitors.

  • Pursuant to the privacy act (1988) (cth) Firewatch Safety Results Group Pty Ltd will upon request make available to the customer and/or its guarantors/directors/officers/partners details of the information it has collected in respect of that particular requesting party and details about the parties to whom that information has or may be supplied.

  • Firewall means a device for the detection, obstruction, destruction and/or prevention (as applicable) of computer viruses, Trojans, worms, unauthorised access or use and/or any similar act or thing which may affect a computer system, or network.

  • Router means a modem or router provided by us for use by you in connection with the Broadband Service.
