Fire Code Inspector definition

Fire Code Inspector means an individual qualified to conduct inspections required by the fire code identified in Section 180.60(a)(3) of this Part.
Fire Code Inspector means an individual who as part of his/her job duties performs fire code inspections or resolves conflicts relative to application of the adopted fire code. The inspector’s status shall be determined by job duties rather than job title.

  • The County recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining representative in accordance with Chapter 447, Florida Statutes, as amended, in accordance with the Certification number 1085 from the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission dated May 26, 1994, for regular full time employees employed in the following classifications: Firefighter, Driver/Engineer, , Fire Code Inspector, and Fire Captain.

  • Personnel voluntarily assigned to the Prevention office will receive their regular hourly rate of pay until achieving their International Fire Code Inspector (IFCI) certification.
