File stamp definition

File stamp means the date and time that is affixed at the top of the first page of a document when it is filed in AEDMS.

  • Advocate means a person other than paid staff who has been selected by the individual or by the individual's legal representative to help the individual understand and make choices in matters relating to identification of needs and choices of services, especially when rights are at risk or have been violated.

  • Court-appointed special advocate means a volunteer guardian ad litem appointed by the court who is responsible for: researching the background of assigned child abuse, neglect and dependency cases; representing the child's best interests; speaking for the child in all hearings, reviews and other relevant case activities; monitoring the child during the life of the case; and advocating for a safe and permanent home for the child.
