Family Style Dining definition

Family Style Dining. meal service means that the food is placed on each table for each child to help him/herself. Children may then select the foods they want and the amount of each food they want. Providers should offer foods to children at different times during the meal to assure children are offered an opportunity to taste all foods and ensure minimum portions are available for each child. Providers also sit with children during the meal service to model positive meal time behavior, assist with serving food and encourage social development that goes along with feeding and sitting down to enjoy a meal”.
Family Style Dining means residential-style dining, in which all food is placed in serving bowls, platters and similar residential serving dishes on the table, residents and staff dine together, and residents are encouraged to serve themselves or serve themselves with help from staff.

  • Family size means the number that is determined by counting the bor- rower, the borrower’s spouse, and the borrower’s children, including unborn children who will be born during the year the borrower certifies family size, if the children receive more than half their support from the borrower.   • Family child care home means a private home in which 1 but fewer than 7 minor children are received for care and supervision for compensation for periods of less than 24 hours a day, unattended by a parent or legal guardian, except children related to an adult member of the household by blood, marriage, or adoption. Family child care home includes a home in which care is given to an unrelated minor child for more than 4 weeks during a calendar year. A family child care home does not include an individual providing babysitting services for another individual. As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.

  • Assisted amusement device means an amusement device, skill device, or ride

  • Family day home means a child day program offered in the residence of the provider or the home of any of the children in care for one through 12 children under the age of 13, exclusive of the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, when at least one child receives care for compensation. The provider of a licensed or registered family day home shall disclose to the parents or guardians of children in their care the percentage of time per week that persons other than the provider will care for the children. Family day homes serving five through 12 children, exclusive of the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, shall be licensed. However, no family day home shall care for more than four children under the age of two, including the provider's own children and any children who reside in the home, unless the family day home is licensed or voluntarily registered. However, a family day home where the children in care are all related to the provider by blood or marriage shall not be required to be licensed.

  • Adult family home means a home licensed under chapter 70.128

  • Modular home means a modular unit as defined in Section 15A-1-302.

  • Member of the immediate family of the producer means a person who is related to a producer described in Subsection 59-12-104(20)(a) as a:

  • Foster family home means a private home in which children are placed for foster family care under supervision of the cabinet or a licensed child-placing agency;

  • Stinger-steered automobile or watercraft transporter means an automobile or watercraft transporter

  • Multi-family housing means a building or structure that is designed to house two (2) or more different households in separate housing Units which have full kitchen facilities including oven/range, refrigerator, kitchen sink with hot and cold water supply and food storage facilities and at least one (1) full bathroom facility(s), one (1) full bedroom and one (1) living area (including a combination thereof such as studio arrangements).

  • Health status-related factor means any of the following factors:

  • Multi-family dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate dwelling unit, which is used, or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, in whole, or in part as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Individualized family service plan means a written plan for providing early intervention services to an eligible child and the child’s family.

  • Family abuse means any act involving violence, force, or threat that results in bodily injury or

  • Family or “family member” means your spouse, and any child, stepchild, parent, or parent-in-law who receives more than one-half of his or her support from you or from whom you receive more than one-half of your support.

  • Tight-fitting facepiece means a respiratory inlet covering that forms a complete seal with the face.

  • Loose-fitting facepiece means a respiratory inlet covering that is designed to form a partial seal with the face.
