Failing school definition

Failing school means a public school which has failed to met adequate yearly progress for four (4) years and is subject to corrective action as determined by the State Board of Education pursuant to the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 2001 (ESEA), PL. No. 187-110, also known as the “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001” or has an index rating in the bottom half of all public schools for any four of the seven indicators of the API; and
Failing school means any school receiving less than a 69 on the College and Career

  • Qualifying school means a private school that:

  • Participating school means a nonpublic school participating in the

  • We or the "School" means the legal entity carrying on as the School as identified in Clause 1(b) below; and

  • You or “Your” shall mean the Bidder responding to this Invitation For Bid or the Seller whose Bid the City selected and awarded a contract.

  • The Vetting and Barring Scheme means the scheme set up under the provisions of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
