Facilities of the Authority definition

Facilities of the Authority means any and all component and pertinent parts of the entire utility system of the water and sanitary sewerage facilities under the jurisdiction of the Authority, including but not limited to the County, or any public agency of Fauquier County, such as water mains and their appurtenances, water storage tanks, filtration or treatment facilities and pumping station, sewers and their appurtenances, sewage pumping stations and treatment plants, including these items and others now constructed, installed, leased, operated or maintained by the Authority, or any which may be leased, operated or maintained by the Authority, or any which may be approved and accepted in the future as additions or extensions of the systems.

Examples of Facilities of the Authority in a sentence

  • Pre-treatment before discharge or elimination of the discharge may be required if in the opinion of the Authority the type of waste and/or the manner of discharge is such as to be detrimental to the Sanitary Sewerage Facilities of the Authority.

  • With the additions and improvements to the above named Jail Facilities, City of Bristol requested to become a Member Jurisdiction of the Authority and share in the cost of constructing, financing, equipping, and operating the Jail Facilities of the Authority.

  • Where the Authority funds this Contract using ESF funds the Contractor shall within four (4) weeks of expiry or termination of this Contract provide evaluation information to the Authority which:

The Facilities Study shall include the cost and scheduled completion date for such modifications, that will be required to provide the requested transmission service or to accommodate a New Service Request. As used in the Interconnection Service Agreement or Construction Service Agreement, Facilities Study shall mean that certain Facilities Study conducted by Transmission Provider (or at its direction) to determine the design and specification of the Customer Funded Upgrades necessary to accommodate the New Service Customer’s New Service Request in accordance with Tariff, Part VI, section 207. Federal Power Act:

  • Road authority means each governmental agency with jurisdiction over public streets and highways. Road authority includes the department, any other state agency, and intergovernmental, county, city, and village governmental agencies responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and highways. When a street railway operates or seeks to operate a street railway system over public streets and highways over which more than 1 road authority possesses jurisdiction, road authority includes each road authority with jurisdiction over public streets and highways upon which the street railway operates or seeks to operate a street railway system.

  • Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards means those certain technical requirements and standards applicable to interconnections of generation and/or transmission facilities with the facilities of an Interconnected Transmission Owner or, as the case may be and to the extent applicable, of an Electric Distributor, as published by Transmission Provider in a PJM Manual provided, however, that, with respect to any generation facilities with maximum generating capacity of 2 MW or less (synchronous) or 5 MW or less (inverter-based) for which the Interconnection Customer executes a Construction Service Agreement or Interconnection Service Agreement on or after March 19, 2005, “Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards” shall refer to the “PJM Small Generator Interconnection Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.” All Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards shall be publicly available through postings on Transmission Provider’s internet website.

  • Appellate Authority means Committee of Directors consisting of Director (Finance) and Director (BD) for works centers under Director (Projects). For all other cases committee of Directors shall consist of Director (Finance) & Director (Projects).

  • Legislative authority means, with respect to a regional transit authority, the board of trustees thereof, and with respect to a county that is a transit authority, the board of county commissioners.
