Exploitation means to make, have made, import, export, use, have used, sell, have sold, or offer for sale, including to Develop, Commercialize, register, modify, enhance, improve, Manufacture, have Manufactured, hold, or keep (whether for disposal or otherwise), or otherwise dispose of.
Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site (or “MMC Site”) means any World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A “Massive Multiauthor Collaboration” (or “MMC”) contained in the site means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.
Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.
Adult exploitation means the illegal use of an incapacitated adult or his resources for another's
Sexual exploitation means any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust for sexual purposes. It includes profiting monetarily, socially, or politically from sexual exploitation of another.
Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:
Source-image receptor distance means the distance from the source to the center of the input surface of the image receptor.
Nuclear fuel cycle-related research and development activities means those activities which are specifically related to any process or system development aspect of any of the following: - conversion of nuclear material, - enrichment of nuclear material, - nuclear fuel fabrication, - reactors, - critical facilities, - reprocessing of nuclear fuel, - processing (not including repackaging or conditioning not involving the separation of elements, for storage or disposal) of intermediate or high-level waste containing plutonium, high enriched uranium or uranium-233, but do not include activities related to theoretical or basic scientific research or to research and development on industrial radioisotope applications, medical, hydrological and agricultural applications, health and environmental effects and improved maintenance.
Discovery Area means that part of the Contract Area about which, based upon Discovery and the results obtained from a Well or Xxxxx drilled in such part, the Contractor is of the opinion that Petroleum exists and is likely to be produced in commercial quantities.
Program area means a general group of disciplines in which one or more degree programs,
Contributory drainage area means the area from which stormwater runoff drains to a stormwater management measure, not including the area of the stormwater management measure itself.
Licensed Area means the area in which the Licensee is authorised to
Development Works means the external development works and internal development works on immovable property;
High terrain means any area having an elevation 900 feet or more above the base of the stack of a source.
The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.
Development Well means a well drilled inside the established limits of an oil or gas reservoir, or in close proximity to the edge of the reservoir, to the depth of a stratigraphic horizon known to be productive.
ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;
Diatomaceous earth filtration means a process resulting in substantial particulate removal in which a precoat cake of diatomaceous earth filter media is deposited on a support membrane (septum), and while the water is filtered by passing through the cake on the septum, additional filter media known as body feed is continuously added to the feed water to maintain the permeability of the filter cake.
complex product means a product which is composed of multiple components which can be replaced permitting disassembly and re-assembly of the product.
Drainage area means a geographic area within which stormwater, sediments, or dissolved materials drain to a particular receiving waterbody or to a particular point along a receiving waterbody.
Constrained Area means: (a) the In-City area, including any areas subject to transmission constraints within the In-City area that give rise to significant locational market power; and (b) any other area in the New York Control Area that has been identified by the ISO as subject to transmission constraints that give rise to significant locational market power, and that has been approved by the Commission for designation as a Constrained Area. For purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Control” with respect to Unforced Capacity shall mean the ability to determine the quantity or price of offers to supply Unforced Capacity from a Mitigated Capacity Zone Installed Capacity Supplier submitted into an ICAP Spot Market Auction; but excluding ISP UCAP MW or UCAP from an RMR Generator. For purposes of Section 23.4.5.7 “CRIS MW” shall mean the MW of Capacity for which CRIS was assigned to a Generator or UDR project pursuant to ISO OATT Sections 25, 30, or 32 (OATT Attachments S, X, or Z).
mining areas means the areas delineated and coloured red on the Plan marked “A” initialled by or on behalf of the parties hereto for the purposes of identification;
Licensed service area means the geographic area in which the home service provider is authorized by law or contract to provide commercial mobile radio service to the customer.
mining area means all those pieces of land containing two hundred and forty‑six (246) square miles or thereabouts situate in what is known to the parties as the “Xxx Xxxxx‑Siberia Nickel Laterite Area” the subject of the mineral claims applications for mineral claims and Temporary Reserves listed in the First Schedule hereto which are generally delineated and respectively coloured green and orange and red in the plan marked “X” signed by or on behalf of the parties for the purpose of identification;
Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).
Cannabis plant means any plant of the genus Cannabis;
